The 19th News (19thnews.org) is an independent, nonprofit newsroom founded in 2020, reporting on gender, politics, policy, and power, with a mission to serve women and LGBTQ+ communities often marginalized in mainstream media.
 

The 19th News is an independent, nonprofit newsroom reporting at the intersection of gender, politics, policy, and power. It is named after the 19th Amendment, with an asterisk acknowledging that women of color were excluded from voting rights for decades after its passage.
